Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Officially Launched in Kenya

Samsung Electronics East Africa announced Wednesday the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series which comprises the Ultra, the Plus and the regular model at a launch event in Nairobi, Kenya.

The new flagship smartphones, comprising the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, promise an upgrade in performance, photography, and display, solidifying Samsung’s commitment to the Kenyan market.

The S24 Ultra boasts the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the S24 and S24+ might house either the Exynos 2400 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, depending on the market. This translates to seamless multitasking, smooth gaming, and enhanced efficiency.

All three models flaunt Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with QHD+ and FHD+ resolutions respectively. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures incredibly smooth scrolling and animations, while the 2600 nits peak brightness guarantees excellent visibility even under harsh sunlight.

The S24 Ultra takes mobile photography to new heights with its groundbreaking 200MP main sensor, accompanied by 3x and 10x telephoto lenses.

The S24 and S24+ feature respectable 50MP primary cameras and 3x telephoto lenses, allowing users to capture stunning images and videos in any lighting condition.

The S24 Ultra and S24+ house generous 5000mAh and 4900mAh batteries respectively, while the S24 packs a 4000mAh battery.

Pre-Orders Open: Customers in Kenya can now pre-order the Galaxy S24 series on the Samsung website, with sales expected to begin from 18th January till 14th February.
